Weekly Recipes - Ice-cream Waffle Cup

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour 4 cups
Granulated sugar 2 tbsps
Baking powder 2½ tbsps
Salt  1/2 tsp
Eggs 3
Warm milk 3½ cups
Melted butter 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Powered sugar  2 cups
Meringue powder  2 tbsp
Cold water 1/4 cup
Black gel food colouring few drops
Ice cream (any flavour) 4 scoops
Gummy worms / strawberry syrup optional

 

METHOD
1/ Mix powdered sugar, Meringue powder and cold water. Beat for 5 minutes. 
2/ Take 3 quarters of the frosting and use it as white icing. Make dots on the baking traying.
3/ Take the remaining quarter of the frosting and add black food colouring to it.
4/ Add the black icing on top of the white icing.
5/ Dry for 18 hours before using.
6/ Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
7/ Mix warm milk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla extract together.
8/ Pour the mix in step 1 into step 2. Blend the mix and ensure it is still lumpy.
9/ Scoop one cup of mix into the centre of the waffle plates.
10/ Remove when waffle cup is golden brown.
11/ Place ice-cream on the waffe cup. Add eyes icing on top of the ice-cream.
12/ Add gummy worms or strawberry syrup on it.
